Fine & Performing Arts

Nebraska Christian believes in aiding students in developing their God-given talents for current and future service to our Lord.  The Fine Arts are one of many ways that we can praise our Savior and share His immeasurable goodness with our school and our community at large.

Elementary

Kindergarten - 6th Grade classes attend a general music class and a visual art class twice per week.  Music class focuses on singing and basic music reading while art focuses on creating through the various mediums of visual art

5th and 6th Grade students participate in Beginning Band in addition to their regular music and art classes.

A highlight of the school year is our Elementary Musical which occurs in the Spring.

In recent memory, each year's musical has followed the adventures of Patch the Pirate (Published by Majesty Music) and his jolly crew as they seek out the truth of God's Word and share the gospel with the world.

Older Elementary students participate in the musical by singing the choral numbers, while the 6th grade class gets the special privilege of acting and providing solo/ensemble songs.
