Elementary

Our strong academic programs integrate a biblical worldview into each subject. We place an emphasis on phonics in the lower grades. Math, Bible, reading, phonics, language arts, penmanship, science and social studies are taught daily in the classroom. Spanish, P.E., vocal music, and art are taught throughout the week. 5th and 6th grade students also take band. Students have scheduled library time each week. The librarian conducts several fun competitive reading contests throughout the year to motivate children to read. Elementary classrooms vary in size from 11 to 29 students.

All students in grades K-6 take MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) assessments in the fall, winter, and spring.
