We offer a rigorous college prep curriculum that strengthens critical thinking skills and teaches students how to apply their knowledge to everyday situations.
Our International Students live in a safe and healthy environment that is characterized by many opportunities for fellowship and learning about the world around them. A few things International Students get to experience are:
Building relationships with American students as well as other international students
Frequent shopping and dining trips on the weekends
Home-stays with local families during the Christmas break
The care of devoted and loving dorm-parents
Sharing in the upkeep of their home through dorm duties
Helping to organize all-school cultural events
Exposure to the unique culture of the US Midwest
We also offer direct ESL (English-as-a-Second-Language) instruction to our International Program Students in order to help them gain competency and confidence in English.
Activities
We encourage students to get involved in both on-campus and community events. From sports and on-campus clubs to local volunteering opportunities, our students have loved becoming a part of our community.
Partnerships:
The University of Nebraska is one of the few universities in the U.S. that allows international students who graduate from a Nebraska high school the advantage of paying in-state tuition.
